The journal «Vestnik KazUTB» is published 4 times a year in electronic format.
The purpose of the journal is to cover new ideas, problematic issues of science and technology, the latest developments and research for a wide range of specialists.
The objectives of the journal are to familiarize with the latest theoretical, technological, methodological and practical achievements of Kazakhstani and foreign authors, to acquire skills, competencies and experience in professional activities in order to prepare advanced training of specialists who meet modern requirements of society.
Thematic focus of the journal:
- information and communication and chemical technologies;
- manufacturing and processing industries – (food technology, mining, oil and gas engineering);
- economics, business and services.
Articles not previously published to the authors(s) in Kazakh, Russian or English, which correspond to the thematic areas of the journal and are designed strictly according to the requirements of the manuscript design, are accepted for publication in the journal «Vestnik KazUTB».
The scientific articles of the journal must contain an abstract, keywords and information about the authors, including the following information – surnames, affiliations, country name, and addresses of the author(s) of the publication indicating the main author, e-mail in those languages.
The manuscript of a scientific article is submitted to the editorial board by the author for correspondence (determined from among the authors of the manuscript if there are 2 or more co-authors) at least two months before the publication of the next issue of the journal. The manuscript is uploaded via an electronic platform by the author for correspondence, indicating all the metadata of the article and its authors.
The author(s) must submit to the editorial board an original work that has not previously been published in other publications (in print, electronic and other open sources).
The Editorial board of the journal reviews the manuscripts received from the author(s), organizes their review and makes a decision on publication or refusal to publish within two months from the date of receipt of the manuscript via an electronic platform.
The author(s) of the manuscript approved for publication in the journal are obliged to pay for publication. The receipt of payment for the publication in pdf format is sent by the author(s) to the e-mail address of the editorial office of the journal.
Borrowing and plagiarism
The editorial Board of «Vestnik KazUTB», when reviewing a manuscript for compliance with regulatory requirements, checks for the presence of a borrowed text in the manuscript through the plagiarism verification system, through the Strikeplagiarism system (Plagiat.pl ).
Original manuscripts and/or those manuscripts in which, according to the results of verification through the anti-plagiarism system, the originality is more than 75% are sent for further review. If the manuscript does not meet the design requirements of the journal and is not an original work based on the results of a plagiarism check, then the manuscript is returned to the author for correspondence to make appropriate changes and re-send the manuscript for consideration by the editorial board via the electronic platform of the journal.
If the authors used the works, articles, provisions, or quotations and statements of other researchers when writing the manuscript, they must necessarily refer to the works of these scientists and correctly formalize the quoted text.
Persons involved in the publishing process, especially members of the editorial board of the journal «Vestnik KazUTB», in order to ensure the high quality of scientific publications, in order to avoid unfair practices in publishing activities, such as the use of false information, falsification of data, etc., to ensure the recognition of scientific achievements by society, undertake to comply with the principles adopted by the international community in order to prevent such violations.
If a provable fact(s) of violation of the principles, standards and norms of scientific ethics was found in an article published in the journal «Vestnik KazUTB», the editorial board undertakes to withdraw this article from the issue in which it was published and from the official website of the journal (to carry out the retraction of the article) with mandatory indication specific violations by the author(s) of the principles, standards and norms of scientific ethics and place an appropriate announcement in the next issue of the journal and on the journal's website in the "Announcement" section.
