Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities and advantages of organizing the management of accounting and control of electricity consumption at a production facility. The advantages and disad-vantages of automation devices and elements are presented. The possible composition of the equipment providing automation of the process of accounting and control of electricity, the organization of the workplace of technical personnel is shown. Trends in the development of modern devices and automa-tion elements allow creating various types of automation systems that reduce production costs, manual labor, the use of remote data acquisition, and the introduction of IoT technologies. The method of selec-tion of automation equipment is shown, which provides variation in price costs without reducing the necessary functionality and quality of the automated control systems being developed. It is shown that when organizing and implementing automated control systems, including accounting and control of electricity at a production facility, it is necessary to prioritize, first of all, automation targets. This will ensure not only a high-quality choice of equipment, but also subsequent reliability, maintainability. The article will be useful for students, undergraduates, doctoral students studying in the specialties “auto-mation and management”, “information systems”, as well as for everyone who works in production in various sectors of the economy.
