Abstract

In this article, cobalt catalysts based on alumina using a zirconium dioxide promoter were obtained by triple impregnation. Tests were carried out on a laboratory Fischer-Tropsch synthesis unit, as a result of which the influence of the temperature of FT synthesis, the addition of a ZrO2 promoter (3% wt.) to the catalyst and the addition of cobalt from 10 to 30% (wt.) to the Co-catalyst on the conversion of the oxide was studied. carbon, yield of liquid C5+ products, selectivity of formation of hydrocarbons CH4 and C2-C5. The optimal temperatures at which the largest amount of hydrocarbon products are formed have been determined. A comparative characterization of the prepared Co-catalysts was carried out for their activity and selectivity with respect to the formation of synthetic hydrocarbons. It has been established that promotion of the Co-catalyst with zirconium oxide (3 wt.%) leads to a significant increase in the yield of C5+ and the selectivity of the formation of C1-C5 hydrocarbons. When comparing the prepared Co-catalysts, it was revealed that the catalyst with a cobalt content of 20% (wt.) is the most active for obtaining the highest yield of hydrocarbons.
