Guide for authors

The scientific journal «Vestnik KazUTB» accepts articles in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

Only articles corresponding to the profile of a scientific publication are accepted for publication, which highlights the results of fundamental and applied research in the field of information and communication and chemical technologies, manufacturing and processing industries, economics, business and services, publications should be relevant, new, have scientific and practical significance.

The publication of materials in the journal is carried out using an online filing system. Registration or authorization is available in the "Sending materials" section. Authors need to register on the journal's website before sending the material, or if the author is already registered, they need to log in with their account and start the sending process.

The author is obliged to provide a cover letter for publication in the journal for correspondence, while it is mandatory to indicate that the article / manuscript has not been published anywhere before, the manuscript has not been sent to other publications and there are no borrowed text fragments from other works in the article without references to them.

Publication is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis as soon as the material is ready. The editorial board of the journal has the right to form a queue in accordance with the upcoming issues.

The volume of the article should not exceed 10-12 pages of text The volume calculation does not include annotations, keywords, references, references.

Times New Roman, the size of the pin is 12 pt, the line spacing is single. 

A4 paper size.

Paragraph indentation – 1.0 cm

Margins: upper – 2 cm, lower – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right -1.5 cm.

Hyphenation is not allowed.

Drawings should be clear, clean. There should be references to figures and tables in the text.
Formulas must be typed in the appropriate editor.

Code of State Categories Scientific and Technical Information is on the first page in the upper left corner.

The final electronic version of the manuscript sent from the account of the corresponding author on the journal's website must be submitted to the editorial office of the journal. Sending a manuscript from the corresponding account is a confirmation that the author(s) is familiar with the rules of the journal.

Full name, place of work, title of the article, abstract and keywords are presented in three languages: state, Russian and English.

The text of the article begins with the Code of State Categories Scientific and Technical Information rubricator on the first page in the upper left corner (The International rubricator of scientific and Technical Information is determined by the link http://grnti.ru/ ) followed by the initials and surname of the author(s), the full name of the organization, city, country, e-mail of the author (s).

The abstract should contain 150-300 words. The abstract contains a summary of the article, reflecting its features and preserving the structure of the article.

Keywords should reflect the main content of the article, define the subject area of the study, each keyword/phrase is separated by a semicolon.

The structure of the article is as follows:

Introduction. The introduction consists of the following main elements:

Justification of the choice of topic; relevance of the topic or problem. The rationale for choosing a topic based on the experience of predecessors speaks of the recognition of the problem (the absence of any research, the appearance of a new object, etc.). Relevance is determined by the general interest in the axis of the object and is confirmed by the theoretical and practical significance of the topic. Definition of the object, subject, goals, objectives, methods, approaches, hypotheses and the meaning of your work. The purpose of the study is related to the proof of the thesis, that is, the presentation of the subject of the study in the aspect chosen by the author.

Materials and methods. This part should consist of a description of the materials, the progress of the work, as well as a full description of the methods used. The characteristic or description of the research material includes the presentation of the specified material in qualitative and quantitative terms. The characteristic of the material is one of the factors determining the reliability of the conclusions and methods of research.

This section describes how the problem was studied: detailed information without repeating previously published established procedures; identification of equipment (software) and description of materials are used, with mandatory novelty when using materials and methods.

The scientific methodology should include:

- research question;

- the proposed hypothesis (thesis);

- research stages;

- research methods;

- the results of the study.

 Results and discussion. This section reveals the basic concept of the work and contains an analysis and discussion of the results of the study, as well as conclusions based on the results obtained during the study. Results and discussion are one of the most important sections of the article. It is necessary to analyze the results of this work and discuss them in comparison with previous works, analysis and conclusions.

Conclusions. The final part includes a generalization and summing up of the work at the current stage; confirmation of the validity of the author's statement and conclusion about the change in scientific knowledge, taking into account the results obtained. Conclusions should be accurate and used to summarize the results of research in specific scientific fields with a description of proposals or opportunities for further work.

The structure of the conclusion should contain the following questions: What are the goals and methods of the study? What are the results? What are the conclusions? What are the prospects and opportunities for the implementation and application of the development?

At the end of the main text of the manuscript, the source of funding (if available), within which the research was carried out, is indicated.

List of literature it should consist of at least 10-15 sources, and is issued in accordance with GOST 7.1–2003 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation". And also have transliteration into English, if the article is written in Kazakh or Russian. When writing an article in English, transliteration is not indicated. Transliteration of the text according to the BSI (British Standards Institution) standard is used for the correct translation of Russian letters into Latin when filling out a bibliographic description of a scientific publication. After the list of references, it is necessary to specify information about the author(s) – full name of the author(s), full name of the organization, degree, title (if any)city, country, e-mail address of the author(s).

The literature review should cover fundamental and new works on the subject under study

The list of references should include only essential references to which there are direct references in the text.

Articles that are not designed to comply with the design requirements are not accepted for consideration.

Articles are subject to general editing. Articles are accepted for publication after the process of conducting a blind review and checking the originality of the article through the anti-plagiarism license program  "StrikePlagiarism.com."

The author(s) of the manuscript approved for publication in the journal are obliged to pay for publication.

The receipt of payment for the publication in pdf format is sent by the author(s) to the e-mail address of the editorial office of the journal.
