Articles may be withdrawn by the author(s) or the editorial board of the journal. The editorial board withdraws published articles in case of violation of publication and/or scientific ethics, based on the recommendations of the SORA. The article is withdrawn/withdrawn (retractions) in the case of:
- duplicate publications (when authors submit the same data for several publications):
- detection of borrowing in the article, without references to the original sources;
- detection of the fact of publication of the manuscript in another publication before its publication in the journal «Vestnik KazUTB»;
- received as a result of illegal actions;
- the appearance of copyright claims on the article or its individual parts by third parties;
- the presence of information in the article that contradicts the principles, standards and norms of publication and/or scientific ethics;
- the presence of gross miscalculation errors in the article or an experimental error.
In the above cases, the editorial board of the journal conducts a review based on the results of which the article will be withdrawn or withdrawn from publication.
The procedure for revocation (retraction) of the article:
After the request of the author(s) or other persons, the editorial board of the journal appoints a commission to verify the data.
If a decision is made to withdraw an article, the minutes of the editorial board meeting indicate the reason and date of the withdrawal (retraction). Information about the withdrawn articles is transmitted to scientometric databases and libraries where the journal is hosted. The editorial board of the journal «Vestnik KazUTB» reserves the right to make a decision on further cooperation with the author of the retracted article.
Correction, refutation of articles:
The basis for making corrections to the published article are:
- some of the publications turn out to be unreliable;
- a small part of the article is plagiarism;
- contains errors in the list of authors;
- incorrect references to the list of sources used;
- it was found that the article was published in another journal.
If falsified material is found in published articles, an explanation is given, refuted or an apology is made in the corresponding editorial comment with a link to the article.
The editorial board of the journal carefully considers all reasonable appeals regarding violations found in the published issues.
