Abstract

The paper considers the development of a fingerprint identification system that combines software and hardware components. The proposed system, based on the Arduino microcontroller and the FPM10A fingerprint scanner, is designed to perform operations on storing, processing, identifying and visualizing fingerprint data. The features of the structure of the papillary lines on the fingers were selected for personal identification. Experimental studies confirmed the stability of the developed system to changes in scale, image rotation and minor distortions
