Abstract

Abstract. The paper investigates the possibility of automated linearization of nonlinear models. On the basis of linearized models it is possible to investigate further such properties of the initial model as stability and controllability. Based on the application of computer algebra, a constructive algorithm for linearizing a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is developed. The software in MatLab has been developed. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated on applied problems.
