CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FACING AIR CARGO MANAGEMENT

Air transportation proved indispensable during the COVID-19 pandemic. This sector has ensured the continuity of global value chains, supporting the survival of European businesses. It also plays a key role in the transportation of essential goods, ranging from personal protective equipment (PPE) to medicines, medical equipment and vaccines. Currently, the report on air cargo transportation proceeds from a number of problems, primarily with the rise in oil prices and the introduction of tariffs.
