Abstract

Abstract. This paper is devoted to the construction of routes for evacuation of employees from the building in case of an emergency situation. Fire extinguishing and fire control system as well as public address and evacuation systems are considered. Graph theory is applicable to construct optimal evacuation routes. There are also many solution methods suitable for practical use. Computer software "Program for building routes for evacuation of employees from the building in case of emergency" was developed. It is designed to calculate evacuation routes for employees of institutions or residents of high-rise buildings in case of an emergency situation. The results of numerical calculations are displayed in the form of a graph. The conclusion presents the future prospects for the development of fire safety systems.
