Abstract

Abstract. This study examines various probabilistic models based on dynamic Bayesian networks to improve the ability of intrusion detection systems. The emphasis is on identifying anomalous patterns that may indicate possible network intrusions. The research involves analyzing the performance of different types of dynamic Bayesian networks in the context of detecting different categories of network attacks. The results obtained can be a valuable contribution to the field of information security, increasing the reliability of network intrusion detection systems.
